Our mission is to foster a positive school-wide atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to be their best: academically, socially, and emotionally. We inspire lifelong learning and character building as we prepare Palomino Intermediate students to be college and career ready.
Believing that no one has the right to interfere with the learning, safety, or well-being of others, Palomino Intermediate uses the school-wide citizenship program Make Your Day. The philosophical foundation of Make Your Day at Palomino Intermediate is that each student is responsible for his or her actions and is responsible for coming to school ready to learn. Teachers coming to Palomino Intermediate will need to be trained in the use of Make Your Day if they are not currently using Make Your Day in their school.
One-hundred percent of our teachers are Highly Qualified and Appropriately Certified and 95 percent have a master’s degree or higher.
